This year marks the 50th anniversary of the groundbreaking RAMONES.

That's why a number of estimable musicians are paying tribute.

Singer Marco Roelofs once before, with his own band Heideroosjes, performed a
creditable tribute to the iconic foursome from New York City. This time
he joins forces with some veterans of the Dutch rock scene. Drummer Bart
Nederhand toured the world with Peter Pan Speedrock and hits harder than
Marky Ramone in his best days. Harold Gielen pounds the bass guitar in thrash
metal pioneers Legion Of The Damned but once started as teenage punk.

String picker Oeds Beydals also once began his musical path with four-chord
punk (Armed Concrete) but is now widely respected as a versatile guitarist
in Iron Jinn (and previously The Devil's Blood and Death Alley)

Like the Ramones four totally different characters bound by their love
for pure rock 'n roll. We're a happy family gabba gabba hey!
