Evil Superstars, dEUS, Eagles of Death Metal, Magnus, Broken Glass Heroes, Eat Lions, The Hickey Underworld and a fantastic solo album. If there’s one thing we can say about Tim Vanhamel’s musical career, it’s that it has been rich and varied. But his biggest project has always been Millionaire. ‘Champagne’, off debut album ‘Outside the Simian Flock’ was one of the most atypical radio hits of its time. QOTSA’s Josh Homme then helped to make follow-up ‘Paradisiac’ into one raging monster of a record. But then Millionaire went quiet, until 2017, when ‘I’m Not Who You Think You Are’, and its magnum opus ‘Sciencing’ announced the band’s return with a bang.
Luckily, we don’t have to wait as long for another follow-up this time. ‘Cornucopia’ is the opening track to a new album that will be released in March 2020.
Vanhamel remains cryptic:
Time’s up, time’s down, time’s right in time
#fillvoidshopeateworkconsumeplanet
Cornucopia=track1 Millionare APPLZ ≠ APPLZ out March 2020
He’ll be supporting that release with a tour, where he’ll be joined by the same band that accompanied him on the ‘Sciencing’ tour. If you’ve seen them at Cactusfestival 2017, then you’ll know you can’t miss this."
